Wind Estate, Randers

Wind Estate is a visionary operator in the development and operation of wind power projects in Denmark. 

With this project, DS Flexhal has built one of Denmark’s first genuine low-energy buildings for the business community. With energy as the key word, DS Flexhal has created an architectural look that combines perfectly with the building’s rustic interior look.

The building is designed as an Energy Class 2 building, which corresponds to an energy consumption level of less than 72 kWh/m². All of the building elements in the building envelope have been chosen with special focus on achieving low thermal loss.

The building consists of 453 m² of administration space built on two storeys, with space for 25 workstations, and a 910 m² warehouse with free height of 6.6 m. The large facade sections allow so much light in that the load-bearing structures and the rustic materials combine to make an ultra-modern building
